Bianca moves to sit next to him and Derek keeps a hand low on her back, twisting a little to face her. He's expecting the question but it still makes him flinch a little, mouth twisting just a bit as he reaches up to scrub his free hand over his face.
"I'm not really sure," Derek tells her, frowning a bit. He doesn't want to talk about it, but he needs to tell her something. "It was like Darrow, but an empty, decaying version. No power or water, and no real food. And-- monsters. I don't really know how to describe it."
His shoulders slump, and he leans against her, blinking tiredly. "It preyed on fear, and I'm just glad not to be there anymore."
