I feel like there should be some light bulb over my head and a ding when it lights up, because it hits me all of a sudden: Derek is from a TV show as well. One I totally wrote off as another Twilight wannabe, but Jess and Casey loved it enough that I've seen bits and pieces of it. And Thomas looked like one of those guys, didn't he?
